This is to honor the single mother onMother's Day.
Single mothers have one of the hardestjobs in the world.
She has to work hard both in andoutside of the home and take care of her children.
She is often reviled by the mediaand politicians.
She is occasionally characterizedas being immoral. She is judged for being single, and she is judgedif she has a boyfriend.
Mothers have been judged forworking outside the home when their children are young.
But the single mother is often judgedif she is not working outside of the home.
There all kinds of reasons a mother issingle; her partner may have left her or let her down in some way.Her partner may have passed away.
The single mothers I know work veryhard. They juggle jobs and children. They sometimes do not have allthat they need. They manage to make do with what little they have.
She is every day caring for her children, going to work, taking buses, and often having little timefor herself.
Sometimes, the single mother let'ssomeone else care for her child, a mother or a grandmother, or someother friend.
Her heart breaks at being away from herchild, but she is doing what she feels best.
Today is mother's day, I want to honorthe single mother.

She has one of the toughest jobs in theworld.
She loves her children and giveseverything she has.
